Old Malt Cask Speyside 20

Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Douglas Laing & Co.
ABV: 50%
Score: 90 points

This cask was filled at Speyside Distillery in May of 1992, and bottled 20 years later by Douglas Laing & Co. The nose has hints of smoke and peat, toasted oak, and subtle notes of grapefruit and orange peel. The taste is fruity with orange and grapefruit notes, mild cinnamon, and a hint of ginger. The finish has citrusy tartness and lingers with orange peel and cinnamon notes.
