The nose has sort of a ham on rye sandwich with horseradish note, along with touches of caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak underneath. The taste is thick, chewy, and intense, as molasses and honey notes form the base while a spicy rye flavor hits the back of the throat and curls up into your nostrils. The finish has an intense rye note that fills the nose. Simple, yet good.
